Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

I recognise i absolutely cannot face up to popping those little bites in my mouth on every occasion and anywhere they're served.  which appears to be just about everywhere ... from sport day get togethers, to tailgating, to cocktail events, and even occasionally a collection breakfast or brunch.

Considering the fact that they can be prepared in advance of time, saved within the fridge and heated as needed, or frozen to maintain for later, our own family loves to whip up large batches to have available for each time.  we simply take a few out and warm them up for snacking whilst we'd like.

Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 3 c. Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese {grated from the block by hand, not packaged pre-shredded}

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients until well combined.
  2. Form into small balls, about 1-inch in size. 
  3. Place on a foil-lined baking pan lightly sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Bake at 400 degrees until cooked through and browned, about 20 minutes.
