Oven-Baked Chicken Parmesan - Chef Fun Kitchen

Oven-Baked Chicken Parmesan

This classic Oven-Baked Chicken cheese could be a healthy chicken cheese formula that’s baked, not fried. Served over whole wheat alimentary paste, this can be restaurant-quality chicken cheese, lighted up.

It doesn’t get far better than chicken cheese. though this isn’t AN innovative formula that I created myself, it’s my personal belief that the planet can’t have too several Oven-Baked Chicken cheese recipes. Or baked chicken recipes, for that matter.

Oven-Baked Chicken Parmesan

This healthy chicken cheese formula is baked, not fried! i prefer to use Panko bread crumbs to feature further brittleness while not having to fry it in oil.

Another and of this lightened up formula is that you simply bake the chicken, thus there’s no grease mess to wash up. The chicken gets nice and crisp within the kitchen appliance (I use panko bread crumbs for further crisp) while not having to use all of that fat-adding oil.

Oven-Baked Chicken Parmesan

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs (I use Panko)
  • 6 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, sliced in half horizontally
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • Whole wheat spaghetti, cooked

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Beat eggs and water together in a bowl. In a separate bowl, combine bread crumbs, 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, oregano, basil, thyme and garlic powder.
  3. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper on both sides. Dip each chicken breast halve in the egg mixture, shake off excess, then dip in the bread crump mixture on both sides. Place on a baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Repeat with remaining chicken.
  4. Spray each chicken breast with cooking spray or an olive oil mister. Bake for 40 minutes.
  5. Spread each chicken breast with Marinara sauce, then top with mozzarella and remaining Parmesan cheese. Continue baking until cheese is melted.
  6. Serve over whole wheat spaghetti.
